ACTION VERBS

Use the phrase “FROM HERE” to show you are done with the set-up and going into the movement. Then get the movement going for one rep to introduce the action using action verbs!

  • Bend your knees for 1 

  • Bend your knees for 2

  • Bend your knees for 3

  • Bend your knees for 4. 

  • Perfect! Now lengthen your legs back out for 1

  • Lengthen your legs for 2 

  • Lengthen your legs for 3 

  • Lengthen your legs for 4.

As you get comfortable with the formula and begin working with more advanced clients, the more descriptive you can be in your 4 count, the better as it gets right into the form:

  • Lengthen your legs for 1

  • contract your core for 2

  • lengthen your legs for 3

  • pull down your shoulders for 4
