THE STORY

The Core (LP) story starts with founder and instructor Judy Pagryzinski.

In 2015, while training for her first half marathon in Los Angeles, Judy stumbled upon Pilates-Inspired Strength Training and instantly fell in love. After years of teaching fitness, she had never experienced such an effective blend of high intensity and low impact — one that quickly toned her core, built lean muscle, and helped her finish her training injury free with a strong PR.

As a lifelong singer and music educator, Judy has always believed in the power of music and movement. Music improves coordination, focus, energy — and honestly, it just makes everything more fun. That’s why Core (LP) was born: a name that nods to both vinyl records and the long-play journey of building real strength.

After training at top Lagree studios across both coasts for over five years, Judy brought her knowledge and passion back to Metro Detroit. Now, the Core (LP) team is here to help runners, ex-runners, lifters, and goal-driven humans who want strength, performance, and longevity — without burnout.
