What Your First 90 Days at Core (LP) Could Look Like
We promise, your first 90 days won’t be someone handing you a mat and wishing you luck.
We actually want to know you, your body, and what you want to experience from your time with us.
Because the right starting point for one person might look completely different from the right starting point for someone else.
It Starts With a Conversation
Before you take your first class, you'll sit down with one of our coaches for a free New Client consultation.
We'll talk about your history, what you've tried before, what worked, what didn't, how your body feels today and, most importantly, what you actually want to accomplish.
Maybe you're looking to get stronger. Maybe you want to change your body composition. Maybe you've been dealing with aches and pains that have made traditional workouts harder. Maybe you want to get back into a consistent routine after years of putting yourself last.
We want to understand the whole picture before we tell you what to do.
From there, we'll make a recommendation based on what you've told us and what we believe will get you toward your goals in the most sustainable way.
That might mean starting with private training. It might mean group training. It might be a combination of both.
There isn't one "right" way to do Core (LP).
There is a right way to start for you.
Then We Start Learning Your Body
Once you start training, your coach isn't just counting reps and telling you when to switch positions.
We're paying attention.
Your coaches take notes on your movement patterns, how you respond to resistance, where you need more support and where you're ready to be challenged. That information doesn't just live with one coach. We use it to help our team understand your path forward.
Because your workout shouldn't be a guessing game.
As you become more familiar with the reformer and your body gets stronger, we'll give you opportunities to progress. During class, that might mean a modification when something doesn't feel quite right, an advancement when you're ready for more or a form correction that helps you finally understand what you've been trying to do.
We'll push you.
But we aren't interested in throwing something harder at you just for the sake of making it harder.
We want you to understand why you're doing it and have a clear path to getting better at it.
We Don't Just See You Once a Week
One of the things that makes Core (LP) different is that your coaching doesn't stop when you walk out of the studio.
Each week, we'll send you a check-in. And it's not some automated email that disappears into the abyss.
You can tell us how things are going, what you're noticing, what you're struggling with, what questions you have or what you're really freaking proud of.
And we read it.
We respond.
Because sometimes the biggest win is more simple than we give ourselves credit for. It's realizing you finally made it through a full week of pilates-inspired strength training workouts. It's noticing that a movement feels easier. It's having more energy. It's showing up to workout when you really didn't want to.
We want to know about those things because they're part of your progress, too.
Somewhere Around 90 Days, Things Start to Feel Different
Will your body look completely different after 90 days?
Maybe. Maybe not.
Bodies don't work on an exact timeline, and I'm not going to promise you a specific physical transformation in a specific number of days.
But around this point, many people start noticing that something has changed.
They're stronger. They're more comfortable on the reformer. They understand their body better. They have more confidence in the workout. They may notice changes in how their clothes fit or how they carry themselves.
And sometimes the biggest change is mental.
You're no longer the person wondering whether you can actually stick with something.
You did.
That's a pretty big deal.
Then We Build Your Next 90 Days
Around the 80-day mark, we'll invite you back in for a Goal Review at our Berkley or Rochester Hills studio with a coach.
We'll look at where you started, what's changed, what's working and what might need to change.
Maybe your original goals have shifted. Maybe you're ready for more. Maybe you want to add in nutrition. Maybe something in your life has changed and your training needs to change with it.
That's okay.
The goal isn't to lock you into the plan we made on day one.
The goal is to keep evolving it.
We'll build clear next steps for your next 90 days so you aren't left wondering, "Okay...now what?"
Because that's how we think progress actually happens.
Through coaching, communication, consistency and having a path that continues to evolve as you do.
That's what your first 90 days at Core (LP) are really about.
You come in with a goal. We help you build the path. Then we keep walking it with you. Ready to start your pilates-inspired strength training journey? Check out one of our convenient Metro-Detroit locations in Berkley + Rochester Hills, MI with a FREE New Client Consult.
