    I started training at Core LP with the specific goal of rehabilitating my core after a pregnancy and C-Section. I already had a fitness routine that included weight training 4-5 days a week and cardio, but nothing I was doing was working for my core. I had pretty significant abdominal separation (3-4 fingers) from my pregnancy (even though I was 6 years post delivery). Judy is extremely knowledgeable and was able to design a program that helped to heal my core properly. We focused on my pelvic floor, which helped decrease adhesions around my c section scar, making it flatter and decreasing discomfort. My entire abdomen is flatter and stronger and my abdominal separation is now down to 2 fingers (and still progressing). Because my core is stronger, my weight training has been more effective because I can lift heavier with improved stability. My body is more functional, leaner, and stronger and I highly recommend Core LP!

    Core LP is the reason why Google needs to add an option for more than a Five Star rating. Having grown up in this area, I've seen countless numbers of "Fad" gyms and workouts come and go. I, Myself, have joined and then quit my fair share. So when SLT (Lagree Method) closed due to the pandemic, I was beyond devastated. But what came from that closure, was so so so much more than I could have ever asked for. Enter, Core LP, and Judy P. Not only has my body regained the tone and definition I had worked so hard for pre pandemic, but getting back into this total body, butt-kicking routine again ( now 1:1), has truly had the most profoundly positive effect on my mental health. I am so proud to call Judy my friend and cannot say enough amazing things about her and the business she has cultivated.

    Moving from NYC, I was looking for a mega reformer work out and only could find pilates workouts in Michigan. Mega-reformer work outs are so different targeting a variety of muscles and incorporating cardio in a low impact way using the reformer. I first started Core LP pre pregnancy, which kept me in great shape, but when I found out that I was pregnant, Judy helped tailor a safe prenatal workout keeping me strong and healthy. Postpartum, I look forward to Core LP bringing me back to my old body. Judy is wonderful. She gets to know her clients and their needs. She has been a great support as a trainer and also as person through out my pregnancy. Highly recommend if you are looking for a good environment and an effective workout.
