SLOW-TWITCH MUSCLE FIBERS

The Lagree Method largely uses slow-twitch muscles that contract slowly and can maintain intensity for long periods of time. They help with increasing endurance while creating long, lean muscles. These muscles engage best from slow, steady movements. At Core (LP) we work these muscles to fatigue through smooth, quick transitions in order to keep your heart rate up and maximize results.
